Theatre instruction is open to all students in Grades 1-12. Areas of study include:
- Acting
- Improv
- Technical theatre (scenery, lighting, properties, costuming, and sound)
Visual Arts

Visual art instruction is open to all students in Grades 1-12. Media formats include:
- Painting (tempera, watercolor)
- Drawing (pen and ink, charcoal, chalk, graphics)
- Physical manipulation (sculpture, mixed media, fiber art, edible art)
Music
Orchestral Strings
Alicia Walls, instructor
Orchestral strings instruction is open to all students in Grades 1-12
- Beginning students start with violin.
- Students may also learn viola, cello, and bass as they progress through the program.
Fretted Strings

Fretted string instruction is open to all students in Grades 3-12.
- Guitar currently offered.
- We plan to include ukulele instruction in the 2024-25 academic year.
Percussion

Percussion instruction is open to all students in Grades 1-12. Classes include:
- Keyboard percussion (marimba and xylophone in our Kids Beat classes)
- Hand drumming
- Novelty Percussion
- Drum set
Vocal Music

Vocal music classes are open to all students in Grades 1-12.
Dance

Dance classes are open to all students in Grades 1-12. Styles include:
- Basic movement
- Ballet
- Tap
- Hip hop
- Lyrical and modern
Creative Writing

Creative writing instruction is open to all students in Grades 4-12. Formats include:
- Writing with and without prompts
- Poetry
- Group writing
- Basic film techniques for grades 9-12 (Five-Minute Movie project)
